When Web Based Training first appeared on the scene it was hailed as the panacea for all training needs. However, the first thing that companies that adopt Web Based training confront is a huge programming-effort. This diverts attention of content developers and results in 'user-unfriendly' unwieldy portals that defeat the whole purpose of Web Based Training.
When we developed Web Training Development System (WTDS), our aim at Intec was to develop a software product that would offer all the advantages of web training without the accompanying problems. The productive use of WTDS at our established customers (incl. Lufthansa Flight Training) confirms that we have been successful in achieving this objective. It meets the needs of the course developers as well as the users.
WTDS enables course developers to create and publish interactive, multimedia training content without any prior programming knowledge. It would let them provide, maintain, and update new information instantly and thus meet training objectives while saving costs and time.

For users, we offer the ability to access the latest version of the course at any time and any place, without the need to spend money for traveling or for upgrades. A new user would find WTDS very simple to use.
WTDS provides you with a media-rich training facility capable of evaluation and adaptation all independent of your IT-environment. It would allow you to present live content in a structure allowing self-directed and self-paced instruction in any topic.
Companies and institutions can use this system to design and create their own courses and training programs without any previous programming knowledge.
