A new project The Native Translator  is completed and going on line. This unique portal where more then 2000 native translators are providing high quality translation on line without involving any automatic translation and delivering the result promptly in 24 hrs direct to the customer.

The market indtroduction of the NEW APPLE IPad offers new possibilities in creating applications for the comsumer and business customers. INTEC as certified APPLE IPhone and IPad devloper offers now APPS development also of the IPad technology.

INTEC moves from Unterfoehring to the new build premises in Ismaning and full virtualization of server and infrastructure is completed within the moving.

The Odersun AG as developer of a new technology in photovoltaics is choosing SMaintain for their maintenance management system for their high technology production lines. The customer is using the ASP-solution (Application Service Providing) and INTEC takes care of all the hosting within the new virtualized INTEC computing centre in Ismaning / Munich Germany.

Despite the ongoing economic crisis some companies are deciding that this is the right time for the implementation of a maintenance solution. ALCAN – Aluminium Canada  in Singen, Germany has decided to implement SMaitain  starting in the 2nd Quarter of 2009.

In December 2008 INTEC signed a Contract for strategic development of the ELearning solution NAuthor in cooperation with Krauss Maffei Wegmann of Germany.
In the first quarter of 2009 INTEC will offer these new features to other clients.
This will be the first time that an LMS can be directly connected with a Hardware Simulation device and information be exchanged. Also the Local “offline” support for training will be offered and some other features will be integrated.

The special exhibition for maintenance called “MAINTAIN” was held from October 14th to 16th 2008 in Munich Germany at the MOC arena.
INTEC, as one of the leading producers of maintenance software solutions for CMMS and MRO, was part of this event.

The Alcoa – Fairchild branch in Kelkheim licensed SMaintain as their maintenance solution. The implementation was done within a short time and went live in September 2008.

A New SMaintain client offers another example for the flexibility and versatility of the product.
The implementation was completed on the domestic port in Berlin in 2008.

The other branches of FRISCHLI are integrated in the SMaintain Database using the mandatory interface. This enables the separation of data held in the same database and offers overall information retrieval.

Another client from the luxury food industry joins the ISI (SMAintain) user list. A special catalog system was implemented to make use of the already implemented naming conventions at the FRISCHLI branch in Rehburg Loccum.
After successful implementation, the other branches in Weißenfels and Eggenfelden shall be implemented as well.

INTEC attends the AICC (Airline Industry CBT Committee) seminar in Miami

INTEC presents the new WTDS 2.1 (later NAuthor) as one the newest technologies in authoring software and starts worldwide marketing and sales activities.

INTEC presents the first prototype of WTDS (later NAuthor) at the Star Alliance CBT conference in Bangkok, held by Thai Airways. The prototype of the first Web Based Training conversion for Lufthansa Flight Training is shown to the members of the Star Alliance.

INTEC is exhibiting at the Munich exhibition hall at the MAITAIN fare where mroe then  3500 business visitors coming from 36 countries are present.

Again despite the economic crisis Jungheinrich AG has decided to implement SMaintain. In September the implementation will start including an online interface to the production machines for online counter transfers and counter based maintenance.
