Case MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG & SMaintain
Already in 1996 MAN AG was enquiring the possibility to implement SMaintain for their branches in Munich and Penzberg. After completing an intensive cost benefit analysis the decision for the implementation of ISI is made in the same year for more then 1 production departements.
The main reason for MAN was that INTEC is able to deliver a flexible standard application and also a fast integration of customization needs e.g. the crane management solution.

Also the fast implementation of the SAP interfaces which were set Productive in the same year was a decision making aspect. In the following years MAN was expanding the use of SMaintain from 20 to  to more and more areas until 2006 the full Branch Munich was licensed with the new unlimited users Browser version.

An additional modul "MSM" was specified where all fault registration can be passed to the application and filter criteria can be definied for the action to be taken if a particular kind of fault occurs in the connected systems.
Faults are automatically classified and passed over to a Messaging system called "page Server". The external systems integrated in the standard system are SIEMENS-FM and Legato BDE.
